Hi Fellows!

Have you ever experienced no permission to access a directory, which is very impotent to you when you are the only administrator account

Message like this,

Then this message,

When you go to security tab, still not allows to changing the permission of that particular directory.

Here is solution, you can change NTFS file and folder permissions using magic command called "icacls".

Step1:

Open command prompt and type following command to see the permissions list (discretionary access control lists - DACLs)

icacls [folder or filepath]

or

icacls [folderpath] *

Step2:

To remove all inherit user permissions enter:
icacls [folder or filepath] /inheritance:r

Step3:

To allow permissions to user, enter following both commands :
icacls [folder or filepath] /grant administrators:(CI)(OI)F
icacls [folder or filepath]> /grant users:(CI)(OI)R

Step4:

Now you should be able to change the directory permission. Furthermore, if you want to remove all inherit user permissions of files in particular directory use following command.

icacls [folder or filepath]\* /inheritance:r

Let me know how it went . . Cheers !!

Hi online fellows! you may already noticed that Flash Player for Android is no longer available from the Google app store and if you have tried to download the latest version of it from your default browser it says Flash Player is not supported by the device.

According to the BBC News, Adobe has pulled its Flash Player plug-in from Android's Google Play store. Moreover, Adobe said it was removing the option to install the plug-in because it was likely to exhibit "unpredictable behaviour" when used with the latest version of Android, known as Jelly Bean which is a pity for Android users.

However, here is the solution I found on Adobe community page.

Search for "flash player archive page" or navigate directly to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions. html

Enjoy . . !! If you have any concern feel free to leave a comment I will try my best to help you or subscribe to my blog, thanks.

Hi everyone !! Today I am going to tell you about how to protect yourself while you are online at University, Library, the Airport, or Coffee shop anywhere you go that you want to connect the internet.

Anyone else who connected same router as you, can snoop through and see what you are doing online. So what we can do about this?

There is one popular technology to accomplish this, that is Virtual Private Networks. Everyone knows as a VPN which is using private network that uses internet to connect remote sites or users together. Private networks use private address spaces which are not able to route via internet. In other words, private addresses are not globally delegated. Early days we used to use Leased lines as a private network. Leased lines are dedicated single wide-area network for business purposes. Though they are reliable and more secure,  the amount of cost that companies have to spend for them are increasing day by day. Because of that reason now companies use Intranet instead.

If you are accessing internet as single user, you probably do not want to make a home private network, because of the cost. So what you can do is you can install simple VPN software on your home pc or laptop like free version of Hotspot Shield VPN to access internet .

So what you can gain from using tool like Hotspot Shield. It provides encrypted secure web browsing session when using public Wi-Fi on your computer and protect against phishing and malware. And able to bypass internet filters, surf internet anonymously without monitoring, tracking or intercepting your web activity neither by snoopers or Internet Service Provider (ISP).

You can use Hotspot Shield not only for your PCs but also for Android Phones, iPhones, and iPads. App is always running in the background and encrypt everything which you sent through Wi-Fi or data connections. So try not to loose your online IDs, passwords, credit card information and other sensitive information. Till next time then. Good Luck!

Hi fellas !!

It's been a long time since I have published my last post on my blog. Anyway here I am back. I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S II white phone with NFC enable very recently. And that is the best phone I ever have so far.

Today I'm bringing you safe and easy way to rooting your Android phone (for Windows users only). This will work almost every Android OS. Let me explain first, people who don't know what is the rooting in Android. Android is a Linux base operating system for mobile devices initially develop by the Android Inc. founded in 2003 and purchased by Google Inc. in 2005 which is you all known fact (source Wiki). Rooting is a process to get all privileges to do almost every thing in Android operating system as administration permission in Windows operating systems.

Before install Unicode you have to root the Android OS. These are simple steps you need to take to accomplish this.

Rooting Android OS

Step1:
In your Android mobile go to Setting >> Application setting and check "Unknown source

Also go to Setting >> Application setting >> Development and check "USB debugging"

Step2:
Make sure you can connect you phone using USB cable and working fine. And in your computer under control panel >> device manager you should have driver like "Samsung Android ADB Interface" installed.

If you have not installed drivers  download Samsung Kies Software, install and then plug your phone back using USB cable. Don not run the program  whatsoever.

Step3:
Download the GalaxyS2RootNew files and run the "runme" batch file. These files may detect as a virus but you have to pause your virus guard till finish this installation. It takes 5 to 10 minutes, once installation done phone will reboot then you are ready to install Unicode. Don't forget to verify you have Superuser application installed on your mobile and working fine. If not do the steps again.
